My spacial perception oscillated between micro and macro interpretation of the abstract forms in the paintings.
I saw microscopic assemblages in biological systems. I saw aerial views of land masses as I orbited earth in a space craft.
I felt calm and serene with the knowledge that I was not separate from the experience. I was observing the observer.
This is why we love our Western North Carolina area…and Asheville in particular. Being a fan of Julie Robinson’s work for several years now… I am awestruck by her going to the next level with her work. Engaging the viewer in such a creative enjoyable way is icing on the cake. Thank you Julie.
